Q. Is there parking near the Hotel?
A. Yes 200 metres adjacent to the hotel, Clerys Q Park. We have preferred rates of €12.50 for 24 hours or €6.00 from 5pm - 10am or €5.00 from 5pm - 10am. Please validate your ticket with Hotel reception.

Q. What time is Breakfast?
A. Breakfast is served buffet style with Irish and continental favourites served from 0700-1030 on weekdays and 0730-1100 on weekends. 

Q. What time is Check In/Check Out?
A. 1430/1200, we will accommodate early check in wherever possible.

Q. What room types have you available?
A. We have 63 small doubles, 100 doubles, 73 twins, 37 triples, 6 quads, 7 king, 11 executives and 7 wheelchair accessible rooms

Q. What is your Pet Policy?
A. It is hotel policy not to allow animals on the premises, this includes Pets.

Q. I am visually impaired and need a guid dog for assistance?
A. Registered guide dogs and other assistance dogs are permitted please notify manager on duty upon arrival if any additional assistance is required.

Q. How far are you from Dublin Airport? 
A. We are 10 Kilometres or 7 Miles, and approx. 25-40 mins travel time.

Q. Is this a smoking hotel?
A. We are a fully non-smoking hotel.

Q. Have you bag storage?
A. Yes, if you arrive early we are more than happy to store your bags for you.

Q. Is there shopping, day tours and other activities nearby?
A. Yes there is, all within 100 metres of our hotel. Please consult with our Guest Relations desk or Reception for advice.

Q. Do you have parking facilities?
A. Parking for guests staying at the Academy Plaza is located opposite the hotel at  Clery's Q Car Park. Special discounted rates are offered to guests, make sure you get your ticket validated at reception upon departure.

The specially discounted rates are:

€6.00 from 5pm - 10am

€5.00 from 7pm - 10am

€12.50 for a 24 hour period

Q. Check In, how does it work?
A. A credit card authorisation (pre-auth) will be asked for at time of check in and will be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

*Any breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
*Additional servicing / cleaning charges above and beyond what would be deemed normal and acceptable.

We pre-authorise all credit cards upon arrival. Please note this process validates the presented credit card, and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents. We may pre-authorise a credit card for any charges we determine that the guest may be likely to consume during their stay. This may also include an amount to cover a security bond / deposit.for damages. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10-days. The pre-authorisation will affect your available funds and / or spending limit. For more information on this practice we suggest the cardholder contact their card issuer.

Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount, until we process the final account on departure. This is a restriction placed on us by the bank and cannot be negotiated.
