"The hotel reception staff were great, room was very clean and comfortable but the staff at the entrance of the restaurant was extremely unpleasant, and treated everybody with a dismissive attitude and were not accommodating at all. This was a family reunion and our group had 3 rooms in the hotel and we all had the same feeling."

"Loved my stay at Academy Plaza. Sofia, at the reception desk, went above and beyond by giving me detailed suggestions for places to eat at things to see, marking each one on a map for me. The gym, although small, was well equipped. And the continental breakfast was more than worth the added price. I did need to wear earplugs two of the three nights I was there, but I believe that was more the result of overly loud neighbors. You can’t expect a hotel room to be sound proof."
