Chose this hotel because of its' close proximity to Connolly Train Station. Room was clean. Having breakfast and dinner with complimentary drink included was a plus. Location was a bit crowded being located on a side street. Overall, would recommend.

Very nice hotel and well situated in heart of Dublin.

I was very happy staying in The Academy Plaza. I was travelling for work alone (female) and felt very safe. All the staff were lovely. I ate in the restaurant and my meal was fantastic. Breakfast was also great. Room was clean and cosy. Could not speak more highly of my experience.

Excellent stay and rooms whilst small were comfortable for the time spent in them. Staff were very friendly, in particular Aureo on the bar. The card was a lovely touch for my father in laws birthday. Lost one mark for the poor service with the evening meal. Despite this we would definitely stay again.

All was fine. Just the light under the doors was disturbing during the night.

the only problem I found was the bathtub was to high and did not have a hand rail to hold on to plus you have to be in the tub to turn on the shower taps because the glass gets in the way to the taps

Ideal location spotlessly clean friendly and helpful staff I would definitely stay here again if coming to Dublin!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel like we did 8 years ago! Loved our room, comfortable beds, kettle to make coffee/tea! Loved our breakfast, so delicious and great variety of food at the Buffet! Overall, still the best hotel in Dublin! Thank you! The McDaid’s ??

Clean, fabulous hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were tasty. Delighted with our stay. Location is central to luas and stones throw away from everything.

A lovely base for a few days in Dublin. Friendly staff, cozy but comfortable room, excellent breakfast; great location walkable to great neighborhoods, restaurants and attractions. Some street noise with the windows open but nothing too troublesome. Would 100% stay again.

A very pleasant stay, the personnel were very helpful and polite. The room was large and met all expectations. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Dublin.

Hotel was clean and staff very efficient and friendly. Quality of cooked breakfast was poor and lights in bar very bright and garish, lower lights Would make it more relaxing

We recently stayed at the Academy Plaza Hotel and would genuinely recommend for its great location but more importantly it’s fantastic staff so friendly polite and helpful. Food was also top notch.

I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near a busy street but it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was a bit busy but there was always enough food and tables. I would recommend!

The location is convenient and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast option is great though they serve the same thing every day. I stayed here for more than 10 days so it became boring after a few days. Over all experience is good and I am happy with their service.
