Room was clean, breakfast was nice. The bed was comfortable. Hotel central enough. Overall, I would recommend this hotel

Got the large twin room on 2nd floor Room 215. Lovely and comfortable beds, small but cosy bathroom. Lovely buffet breakfast. Great packed breakfast for early check out. Friendly staff. Will definitely be returning. Many thanks for making daughters birthday weekend really special.

Exceeded my expectations! The front desk guys were so helpful! The morning breakfast buffet was very good. And the location was perfect for our trip.

Really central location and nice big clean and comfy room. My only issue is with the breakfast orange juice. It seemed like it had been diluted considerably which was a disappointment. Everything else was great with plenty of choice. Overall, a very pleasant stay with friendly staff throughout.

Excellent location— easy access to tram and bus system and Aircoach bus to/from airport. Very clean. Staff pleasant. Not a luxury hotel, but has everything you need at a good price. Highy recommend for value and convenience.

Very pleasant stay , friendly welcome at reception who helped us out even though we arrived early. Very clean and modern hotel with well presented rooms. Dining room staff were very helpful and did their best to ensure our group of 12 could sit together at breakfast. All in all very happy that we booked the Academy Plaza and will definitely be back.

Excellent location. Good triple room. Breakfast very good for Irish Breakfast but less good for people who like pastries. In negative: strange shower, you have to bend down to adjust it And the air conditioning is slower than desired. Overall: A very good hotel in its category with good value for money.

Room lovely and quiet. Beds comfy. Plenty of towels.Only negative is asked for a small jug of skimmed milk to bring to my room to have with a cuppa, however, I told there was a charge. Needless to say, I didn’t take it. This was a first for me as I never encountered this in another hotel I have stayed in.

Everything was great, the location, decor, cleanliness, service, food. Will definitely return.

Great hotel, room was better than we expected for a quad room. Nicely appointed plenty of towels and very clean. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of both hot and cold options. Thank you for a great stay we loved it.

Employees were under staffed for the breakfast (have to wait to be seated), some food was missing (as scramble eggs for example)

My 6th time staying Here, and have Always been given a warm frendly Welcome and have been more than well looked after. My greetings and thanks an all who know me from the Restaurant and the Bar. I'll be back soon again Best wishes Jamie ??

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay room was lovely beds very comfortable we slept very well breakfast was very tasty and food plentiful and delicious we had full Irish. Had Pizza for lunch and “they were to die for”. Rates were very reasonable,We will definitely stay again at the Academy Plaza on our next visit to Dublin. Jim Waring

In general it was a good stay. Two issues in the room (no.213): - the handle of the bathroom door had only one screw risking of having the handle detached - the door safe keeps open in the middle of the aisle, when the safe is not in use, that's dangerous!

My stay at the Academy Plaza Hotel last week was a very positive experience overall. On checkin into my room I noticed that the lock on the inside of the door wasn't working properly and within a couple of minutes of me calling Reception to report this a very helpful woman from Housekeeping came to my room and swapped out the lock, so it all worked perfectly during my stay. I really appreciated how quickly, efficiently and professionally this was done. I had to attend meetings the morning I was checking out and was not able to be back at the hotel at check-out time, so the Reception team kindly held my luggage for me until I was able to return after my meetings to collect it. One slight issue to note is that it was difficult to regulate the hot water in the shower in my room - it ran very hot and even when I tried to make it cooler, it still spurted very hot again in burst every few seconds. Breakfase was very busy because of large tour groups, and because it is buffet-style, it was quite confusing to navigate. I'm not sure if it's because of the layout of the various buffet stations or the sheer number of people, but it was quite frantic and not easy to figure out. I requested gluten-free toast and did get it, but two slices were overtoasted and the third was just barely warmed. Again, this was probably because of how busy it was. The food itself was very good, and I had a gluten-free pizza on the one evening I had dinner during my stay, and that was excellent. All in all, I was very happy with my stay.

Our Room was clean, the bed comfortable and everything worked good. The hotel is near by the centre. The breakfast is quite good, enough for a short stay. We will come again and we can recommend the hotel.

Nous avons réservé 3 chambres au même tarif et 2 d'entre elles étaient vraiment beaucoup plus petites. C'est la 3ème année que nous venons et c'est la 1ère fois que nous avons ce genre de chambre. Sinon l'embellissement du hall d'entrée est superbe et le petit déjeuner toujours aussi copieux.
