The Academy Plaza is in a great location. Rooms are small but they have pretty much everything you need. Comfortable bed and it was a quiet. They serve a great breakfast with options for traditional Irish breakfast or something lighter. The staff were exceedingly helpful. We needed an emergency dentist and they connected us to the right service quickly. We are staying again.

Check in was very smooth, breakfast was great with plenty of options and rooms were great. Reception was amazing as I lost something and they promptly found it for me. Would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere central in dublin.

Everything in the Academy Plaza was modern and clean. Stag were lovely and helpful. Got a good deal on my room by booking directly. While the room was compact, it had everything in it that you would need for your stay (with the exception of a shower cap provided with the toiletries perhaps!). What also impressed me was, while I was having my breakfast (which was good quality), the hotel general manager (I presume) came through and instead of looking around to see if everything was perfect he instead took time to engage with staff and introduced himself to 2 young ladies on duty and inquire about them. I would definitely recommend the Academy Plaza and will return myself.

Good value. Clean and modern furnishings. Well located within city centre with easy transit access. Only complained are that the TV quality was terrible (flickering and disconnecting from signal) and the heating turned off overnight.

Really great location, good breakfast, clean, nice touch of a hand written card for my birthday, would stay again!

This hotel is so central and minutes from all all shopping area's, the hotel itself is very nice, food excellent, room lovely and comfy and staff all very friendly and very helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dublin city ,

Great hotel room, well cleaning, friendly and helpfull staff. Even the General Manager, Mr. Brennan, personally attends to his guests and offers assistance when needed. As in previous years, I noticed something at breakfast: the sausage and cheese could be presented more attractively instead of being piled up. The orange juice's flavor suffers from too much ice. These are minor suggestions that don't lead to a lower rating.

Everyone was great and everything was perfect! Staff, accomodations, breakfast, everything 5 ⭐️ I totally recommend it.

The hotel is nice, clean and in a good location. The staff were wonderful: very nice, kind and hospitable. We couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was varied and tasty.

We had a lovely 1 night stay in academy plaza Dublin. We would recommend this hotel. It's very, clean, friendly and ideally located. We got to check in early and they let us stored our rucksacks the next day so we could enjoy the day before our flight. Breakfast was really good and lots of choices. We would absolutely return to this hotel if we were to ever stay in Dublin again.

Really good! Walking distance from every place I wanted to visit. The breakfast was good enough and the staff helped me with an early check-in.

Good location in Dublin. Value for money. Staff very helpful. Only negative was very small bathroom. Would recommend and would use again.

Fantastic find, newly refurbished, 3min walk to spire carpark 8min walk to Luas. Value is unbelievable, ribeye steaks were delicious, malbec was yum,rooms lovely spotless triple glazing, so quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Only complaint it was bitterly cold day and foyer and bar/dining area cold because atomic front doors opening and closing for customers. Also doors yo bar/dining area open, which i requested to be closed, which they did, making place comfortable and warm. Will definitely be back.

Very nice reception team, very clean and quiet hotel. Nice cosy room and great breakfast. Excellent location. Only small negative side , the shower was a bit small.
