I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful customer service I received at the Academy Plaza - in particular, from Paris, working on reception. My stay was for a particularly sad reason and Paris went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, even leaving a card and chocolates in my room and generally being so kind and supportive throughout my stay. She is an asset to the hotel. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the restaurant served a perfect breakfast each morning. I genuinely hope to return very soon.

Enjoyed our stay at the academy plaza. The hotel was very well presented and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. And we especially liked the take out hot drink cups available at breakfast. Our negative points would be that our room 104 while it didn’t have a great view looking at the back of what we think was a pub which is not the problem as we didn’t pay any extra for a view but it was noisy until early hours. Also we found the the cleaners could be noisy at times banging doors and at one time stood outside our room talking for long enough to make me get up and go out and ask them to move. This being said it didn’t spoil our stay and we would return and recommend.

The hotel is in a good location and both the hotel and our room were nice and very clean. Staff were polite, professional, friendly and very well presented.

We booked 3 rooms at the Academy Plaza Hotel. A quad and 2 triples. It fit our group of 10 perfectly. We arrived early just hoping to store our luggage but the rooms were ready and they allowed us to check in. The front desk workers were very nice and accommodating. They offer free breakfast which was good and the location was pretty close to restaurants. Stores and entertainment. We only stayed 1 night but I would stay here again if I return to Dublin.

It was the first time I had used this hotel and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was smart, clean, well decorated to a good standard. This includes the bedroom and the public areas. The location was also very helpful.

We asked for lactose-free Milk and they didn't have it. Would have loved to eat pancakes in the morning. We had to ask for shampoo and condiciones in recepción, because there wasn't any in our bathroom. Everything else was perfect, thank you.

Lovely hotel, very clean, very central for all the places I wanted to see. I was in a great room on 2nd floor, I was afraid it was going to be noisy but it wasn't. No noise at all. Food and cocktails delicious. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Very clean and friendly hotel. The staff are excellent. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Room was great no issues at all.

We had a fantastic stay at Academy Plaza Hotel, Dublin. The staff, room, facilities and food was outstanding. The hotel is close to the main O'Connell Street. Our booking was made via Rory's Travel Club deal. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was excellent; reception desk staff were professional; TV station selections were abysmal - totally lacking in anything entertaining to watch. Room was comfortable. Bathtub is very difficult to get in an out of - too high and narrow.

Great value, very clean and comfortable rooms, quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast package. In a convenient location with good access to public/airport transportation. The coffee shop/café was very nice as well.

Amazing hotel! Staff on the front desk are so polite and helpful, suchba warm welcome great location only short walk from O'Connell St nice clean room, good amenities delicious food in restaurant.

Lovely welcome on reception. Beautiful spotless room with everything we needed. The food both at dinner and breakfast was delicious. We were a party of 7 celebrating a 21st birthday and we were all very pleased with our stay. Looking forward to a return visit and I would highly recommend. A great hotel in Dublin City Centre, exceptional value for money with a great location and wonderful staff.
