Very nice hotel ,good staff and good breakfast

I stayed for 1 night recently while attending a concert in Dublin and was very satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent and hotel is modern. I had a room with 2 twin beds which was very comfortable. My rate of €75 included breakfast. Breakfast was full buffet, plenty of choice and very good quality. All staff I encountered very very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Would I stay at Academy Plaza again. Absolutely! The hotel has a lovely feel, the room was nice - clean and reasonably modern. Loved having a safe. The location was superb and the breakfast was nothing short of sensational. My only criticism would be that most of our encounters with the staff was not what we expected. Not overly friendly. They weren’t rude but we just didn’t feel that warm Irish hospitality we were expecting. It wouldn’t stop us staying there again though.

The stuff working in the hotel were charming at all times, since the first moment they took care of my luggage and they always helped me.

As regular customers, we know what to expect and had another pleasant stay. One remark, we made sure to keep our towels on the rack each day, so as to be reused. Yet every evening we found a fresh set. This is not only unnecessary, it puts an easily avoidable drain on resources and must come at a cost to the hotel as well.

Problem with the air-conditioning on our arrival. After almost half an hour, we were transferred to another room.

I stayed at the Academy Plaza Hotel over the weekend and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and we felt completely comfortable from the very beginning. The hotel’s location is excellent – perfect for exploring Dublin on foot. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel. Good food. Very central.

Extremely happy, excellent staff and always helpful. Very clean and comfortable hotel. I had a small double and it was larger than I thought. Plenty of room, hot water. Would recommend this hotel to friends. It was also handy to walk everywhere in Dublin's streets. Safe place.

Enjoyed our stay. Room and breakfast good. Parking was the only thing we thought was extremely expensive even with the discount although it was the closest location

Stay was lovely, hotel was clean and staff all very friendly. The only thing i would say is the bed is tiny for two people in the double room. But otherwise great stay and central to everything.

Very comfortable & clean room though my room is a bit far from the lift. Breakfast is tasty, but I hope the time would be earlier (from 6:30). Good location, close to the town center

The hotel amenities (restaurant, coffee shop) were lovely. The room was nicely designed with great lighting, the bathroom was clean and well laid out. However, the pillows were quite hard and heavy, they felt old and dirty. The beds weren’t much better. Our window in the room faced a loud unit outside which buzzed which prevented us from keeping the window open. Which was unfortunate as the room did need to be aired out.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with the room being to a very high standard. The staff where very knowledgeable regarding the local area.
