Very poor breakfast in quantity and quality. fire alarm sounded without any reason in the middle of the night

The toilet seat was broken on arrival, it got fixed VERY quickly which was great, turns out the toilet was too small for the seat as it broke again as you cant open the door without it hitting the toilet.

Nice hotel overall. Friendly staff. No complaints regarding breakfast. The location of my room on the 1st floor let this place down for me however. There was music with a deep bass playing till early hours in the morning. Not loud but noticeable. Shower head was a little unstable but usable.

PERFECT location- STAFF was off the HOOK- from servers to hosts to bartenders- everyone was friendly and knowledgeable! Great breakfast- comfy beds- good shower pressure!

We arrived in Dublin as very weary travelers. Our stay at Academy Plaza was very relaxing. The hotel is lovely. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was charming and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent!

The hotel has a great location to getting too different places around Dublin. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again if or when I am in Dublin

We having been staying here about 10 times a year for many years while I attend meetings in Dublin. I cannot speak highly enough of the warmth and efficiency we have always experienced from all the staff. The rooms are comfortable, the food excellent and the central location great. In many respects we now regard it as a home from home!

Special mention to Louis front office who kept my laundry nets as per my instructions as he kept in a safe place. Good responsibility. I was making a fuss when I found out that my laundry nets were missing after the clothes were washed and returned back to me . Then another special mention to Cristiano, front office who was so patience with me when kept a fuss about my missing laundry nets and he did a follow up after trying down the details of my complaints . But all were resolved I’m so glad ! Good communication between staffs too. We love your breakfast spread and they are delicious, although we opt for paper bag breakfast for two days as my two days tours starts at 6:30am. Thank you. Will stay here again Eve. Though I’m a member of Holiday Inn where your hotel is just next door. Regards Janely

We enjoyed our 3 night. They need to provide shampoo and conditioner. They thought body wash sufficed as shampoo and conditioner.

On entry to Hotel was greeted by friendly professional front of house team. Check in no problem. We were given what was described as a compact room. The room although small and compact was sufficient for our needs of a one night stay. It would have been an issue should our stay have been longer. The bathroom sliding door was in poor condition with pieces missing at the bottom. There would not have been diffident room for a real open and close door due to its proximity to the bed. Little tired in the bathroom you could see there had been some attempt to manage this.I was woken at 3 am by the sound of voices which lasted an hour which caused somewhat of a disturbed sleep for me. Breakfast was your standard fare nothing special, I avoided the hot food it looked rather dry . The positive from this experience was your hard working team , helpful and courteous.

A refrigerator and water on arrival would be nice.

I think this was the best value stay of our trip. Perfect location in central Dublin, excellent customer service, charming lobby area and amenities, and comfortable room. And delicious breakfast too!

We were very pleased with our stay at Academy Plaza Hotel!! The staff were fabulous-so friendly and helpful!! Hotel is very centrally located and a very comfortable and clean rooms. I would highly recommend it!

We recently had a one night stay at Academy Plaza. It is everything as advertised. Our experience there was excellent and we highly recommend. We will return.

I've stayed here several times and this was the best experience yet. Spacious room, attentive staff. The only negative thing was the "breakfast" to go on our day of departure. A granola bar, apple, water and a juice box. A far cry from the sustenance of a full Irish breakfast!
