Wonderful hotel. Great location. Room very nice. Enjoyed our stay. The fish and chips at the restaurant was one of the best I’ve had. Thank you.

Nous avons réservé 3 chambres au même tarif et 2 d'entre elles étaient vraiment beaucoup plus petites. C'est la 3ème année que nous venons et c'est la 1ère fois que nous avons ce genre de chambre. Sinon l'embellissement du hall d'entrée est superbe et le petit déjeuner toujours aussi copieux.

We had a great stay in Dublin at Academy Plaza Hotel for 2 nights. Checkin was quick & easy. Domenic was friendly, quick and efficient, answering all of our questions with a professional but friendly attitude. We had a nice quiet room (although other guests are less than considerate about letting the doors slam!) (perhaps a sticker on the door as a reminder?) Our room was not large but clean and well appointed. Breakfast had plenty of options and the staff in the dining room were friendly and efficient. Dinner options were well prepared and delicious. Cafe staff were also friendly and helpful. The area directly outside the door is a bit scary; perhaps better lighting would help? We found the location very convenient to everything - transit, dining, attractions, shopping, etc. This was our second time staying at Academy and definitely will consider returning and/or recommending it to friends and family.

Very enjoyable stay in a central location. Food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff.our 3rd visit and will stay again.

- I was assigned an occupied room. The receptionist was friendly in solving this (although she tried to figure out who was occupying the room making calls etc. BEFORE assigning myself a new one, which I found quite strange) - The ventilation is noisy - Assignment of the breakfast table issues unnecessary queues

We're very glad to have chosen the Academy Plaza Hotel & this is completely owed to the efficient staff, all-round cleanliness, well managed services, cosy bars & very good breakfast-item variety with which we were catered for throughout our queries, requests & week's stay. This hotel's city-centre location & close proximity to double-decker bus stops, tram lines & train stations proved to be an invaluable asset during the rainy days as we didn't have to walk or travel much for shopping centres, museums plus churches & then to parks, rivers plus greenway walks during the drier days. All in all, we will surely be returning to the Academy Plaza Hotel as its still very good value for money & a short trip from Dublin Airport to the very heart of the Capital itself. We arrived at mid-day and asked to check our bags and the staff said oh we can give you a room now. It was so wonderful to have the room right away and not wait. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and reasonable size for our stay. The location is very convenient. I was very pleased

We have stayed at this hotel many times. We go to Dublin annually for a horse racing meeting. The hotel fits the bill for us, especially if we book in advance, there is normally a better rate. We did ask for an upgrade but were advised it would cost more, so we didn't bother. I have travelled to many places and stayed in a number of hotels whereby upgrades on the day are free gratis. Day one breakfast wasn't really up to usual standard. The eggs in particular had been lying too long. Day 2 was as expected, great.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Academy Plaza. At our arrival we got a room with an extremely small double bed which did not fit- neither our weight nor age. The staff was very helpful and changed the room according to our wishes. Thank you once again for that!!! Food was very rich and delicious!

The staff at the front desk were great. They really helped me do the things I wanted to do, like a trip to New Grange. And they were cheerful and smart.

Very central hotel, with comfortable rooms and good service. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was marked by elevators that did not work. It was difficult to have to navigate steps at the age of 72 and 74 when the elevators are staring you in the face. The fact that the bathroom was so small, you couldn't even turn around was also drawback. Other than that, it was pleasant enough.

Spacious room. with good bathroom amenities. Conveniently located in the city close to attractions. Room cleaner consistently knocked and opened our bedroom door whilst we were asleep. The hot (cooked) complementary breakfast was good. It would have been nice to have vegetarian sausages.

Good location. Room fine missing towels. Elevator was slow.

goed onthaal , propere kamer , goed ontbijt , prijs / kwaliteit TOP , zeker als je weet dat je midden in Dublin centrum bent. Ook grote reductie gekregen op de Q-park parking in de buurt

The bed was very uncomfortable ? I book for a double room and a double bed but ithat was not even a queen bed, that was a double bed. Staff were very efficient but can be a bit more friendlier and welcoming. I understand though because it was busy. It nice when u get in a hotel and they say something about the city as to maps etc. Breakfast was wonderful. Thank you.

Really nice hotel and rooms. Staff were friendly, helpful and thoughtful. I was disappointed by the lack of vegan options at breakfast. It was very limited. It would be great to offer margarine (Flora or something similar) as an alternative to butter and some Alpro type non-dairy yoghurt options.

My first comment is about the shower/tub. Please add safety bars for your guests who are of a certain age that need that extra security while climbing into the tub. Also, the rooms, well our room, facing Parnell Street can be very noisy after midnight. Noise reducing windows would help. Or a discount for those rooms and guests who are awake for several hours as the pubs empty.
