"Very pleasant stay , friendly welcome at reception who helped us out even though we arrived early. Very clean and modern hotel with well presented rooms. Dining room staff were very helpful and did their best to ensure our group of 12 could sit together at breakfast. All in all very happy that we booked the Academy Plaza and will definitely be back."

"Excellent location. Good triple room. Breakfast very good for Irish Breakfast but less good for people who like pastries. In negative: strange shower, you have to bend down to adjust it And the air conditioning is slower than desired. Overall: A very good hotel in its category with good value for money."

"Room lovely and quiet. Beds comfy. Plenty of towels.Only negative is asked for a small jug of skimmed milk to bring to my room to have with a cuppa, however, I told there was a charge. Needless to say, I didn’t take it. This was a first for me as I never encountered this in another hotel I have stayed in."
